Program Eligibility

To be considered for admission, candidates must have earned a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution prior to matriculation and have career goals or work experience in a field that would be supplemented by study in the MLS program.

Note: The MLS does not qualify graduates to become licensed attorneys. In addition, pursuant to American Bar Association standards, MLS credits cannot be transferred into the JD program. If your goal is to become an attorney, please visit the UC Law SF JD Admissions website.
